Volunteers in Sara Buri Province have joined hands in cleaning up public waterways in a bid to show their appreciation for the dedication of HM the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej to his subjects.
Sara Buri Governor Bandit Thewithiwarak on Thursday chaired the official opening of the special activity for volunteers to do good deeds.
The project focused on the dredging of local canals and public waterways in Don Phut District.
The activities were joined by the chief of local state offices, soldiers, policemen, village chiefs and volunteers, who wanted to show their love and gratitude for HM the late King and his development projects.
Meanwhile, in Plaeng Yao District of Chachoengsao Province, volunteers helped each other dredge a canal which connects two villages and is used for agricultural purposes.
